Heritage Wines
Great little boutique winery. Featuring some 5 star James Halliday 2016 Australian Wine Champion and also named as one of the ten dark horse wineries of 2016. This I agree with definitely a dark horse. Personally I tried the Sparkling, Fiano and the Verdelho with my favourite being the Fiano. The also serve al a carte lunch 7 days a week and can provide high tea on request and by advanced bookings at 10am or 3pm. I visited for an art showing and I'm impressed. I'd highly recommend this quaint little spot for viewing and tasting when on the mountain.
On the day we attended, the room was beautifully done up for a wedding and looked gorgeous! Our tasting went well and we enjoyed our time briefly at Heritage Wines, taking away a bottle of wine with us and a $4 bag of home grown Avo's.
The phones were down at the time meaning we had to pay cash instead of EFTPOS, but technology can be like that!
