Disgusting treatment of my elderly father and wheelchair-bound mother
My elderly parents collected a hire car from Hertz Rocklea on 11 February 2022 as part of an insurance claim. Hertz staff failed to inform them of all tick-box requirements before their arrival, then refused to accept my parent’s valid credit card or any other offers for payment, leaving my parents stranded at the Hertz Rocklea offices. Hertz staff provided no assistance in resolving the issue, and just waited for them to leave. My wheelchair-bound mother was refused access to the Hertz toilet for an hour while they waited for a manager to stop talking to a co-worker. Rocklea brisbane hertz I wouldn't recommend to any one. Poor service. It's as if they look for ways to charge the customer. Do not smoke in car they can charge you up to $300 for a cleaning fee. They will! Clearly they don't want repeat customers. I left car in good order. Clean and undamaged. I would not be surprised if I get a bill in mail for I don't know what. Use another car hire company. I most definitely will be. Thanks.
