Hertz Car Rental Sydney Airport

Returned car after filling tank up and was still charged $50 for petrol simply because the petrol station was 3km away. If they find so much as a drop missing they will charge you.

Always find efficient service when travelling to Sydney for work and rent a car from Hertz. A staff member & I were unable to easily pair my phone recently and I was efficiently upgraded to a better car with smooth Bluetooth pairing. Happy to visit again.

I will never ever rent or go near the Hertz name brand for as long as I live. They try and charge you any extra even if you don't deserve it. Other shop is a lot better with being up front and smiling service.

Feel I should adjust my star rating, given the response I got from Hertz about my charges query. Will definitely use Hertz again.

To be honest the thing that impressed me the most was being acknowledged by an already busy staff member when we arrived at Hertz. Their little office was full of people, but Daniel went out of his way to acknowledge my husband and I. The simple gesture of smiling, saying hello and that someone would be with us soon. It's as simple as that!

Arrived in Sydney late at night after a delayed & eventful flight due to bad weather. So feeling a bit jaded and tired, we made our way to Hertz. The office was full, but one of the staff acknowledged us to say they wouldn't be long. Good start in my book. A few minutes later we were served by Daniel, who was super efficient and friendly. Within ten minutes we were on our way. Returning the car a couple of days later was another smooth process. Very friendly staff. Recommend!!!

Have marked mid-way though, because since returning have noticed substantial extra charges on our credit card that don't match our receipt. Currently awaiting a response from the customer relations team.....stay tuned. Hoping for a good outcome.
