Our company got a hire car from hertz five dock as a courtesy car whilst another was getting fixed as part of an insurance claim.
We had an accident in the hire vehicle whereby a member of staff scratched the front parking in a car park on raised concrete.
We did not have excess waiver on the rental and I expected the worse and would have to pay the full $1100 excess on company credit card.
The guy in hertz was amazing and said as had been up front from the start about it he would not charge anything to the credit card.
Now I hire cars quite a bit for personal use and believe it is pretty rare to get that response from a car hire company.
I would definitely use them again after that experience and would recommend others to do so too.
