Yer HP printers have had issues but the later ones now are very good quality

I purchased a very expensive printer from them 14 months ago. The wireless facility does not work, the driver software conflicts with everything on my computer and then it got an error message and would not print. Spent almost $200 buying new cartridges, (had to buy them twice as it will not allow you to put non HP one in) as directed on their support site, only to be told when I called that the printer is out of warranty and it was not fixable. Throw it out and buy another one! It certainly will not be a HP printer. Then they tried to charge me $20 for the service call - don't think so!

A word of warning to those of you who are thinking of purchasing a printer from Hewlett-Packard. We purchased a Office Jet approx 15 months ago, today it jammed and we called them, only to get told, that it cannot be unjammed and cannot be fixed. For a printer to only last a short time and cannot be unjammed or fixed, I think stinks. So we basically got told to throw it out and purchase another one, the person was quite rude. They are a hungry money making company and I will certainly not be purchasing from Hewlett-Packard AGAIN. Giving them 1/2 star is even too much. Very disappointing. BEWARE
