Each time I have been here, it has been fantastic. The food is always great and the staff are always friendly. Service can some times be a little slow, which is understandable, as it frequently gets very busy for breakfast and lunch. If you are after a killer ham and cheese toasty, then this is the place to visit!
After loving my breakfast experience I returned to try the sandwiches. After spending about 10 minutes trying to decide which one to try I settled on the Cuban special and waited with drooling anticipation for the sandwich to appear. It did and I was slightly underwhelmed by how flat it was - where was the filling? When I bit into it it was really tasty but the bread / filling proportion was out. I am still undecided about the lunch menu.
Very cute little place tucked away in Ebenezer Place. One wall is covered in mirrors and that is where you will find any specials. The coffee was good as was the breakfast - the croque monsiuer was brilliantly cheesy with yummy dirty girl kitchen chutney and the eggs cocette were nicely different with layers of potato, mushrooms and the baked eggs. If you like sandwiches their lunch menu has many different interesting combos.
