Hibiscus Spa & Resort is a Balinese inspired oasis positioned about a two-minute walk from Macrossan St the main strip in Port Douglas. Although Im not qualified to assess the authenticity of it Bali-ness the fact that it has inspired me to travel to Bali speaks volumes about the effect it had on me. As soon as you walk in you lose yourself in the lush tranquility of the surrounds. Im far from a green-thumb yet I constantly found myself daydreaming when looking at the rich vegetation that's so prominent. The rooms are large, airy & quaint. The pools are great. The staff were all very friendly & accommodating. This place was so good I think a return trip is on the horizon somewhere in my future!
