I had a rather unfortunate experience with this firm when I visited for a "free" 30 minute family law consultation as advertised on their website. I was able to have some of my questions answered however when I tried to leave, knowing that the 30 mins was almost up and I would be charged for the subsequent time (I did sign a form to that effect), I was told by the lawyer attending me "oh, don't worry about that". I just wanted to add that I did in fact take this up with the practice before posting here but was not satisfied with how it has been handled.
This review has recently come to our attention. Thank you for your comments and we understand your concern.
We have discussed, with our staff, the importance of communicating what the 'free' initial consultation involves.
It is vital to be clear on costs if, by mutual agreement, the consultation extends past the 'free' period.
Over the past few months there has been a change in staff and new appointments have been made. We look forward to providing a positive experience for our clients.
