I guess the most annoying thing about this place was that it was so far out of the town centre, which made it somewhat difficult for a person like me, who didn’t have a car, to lug my bags all the way up here. However, putting that aside, because it certainly is conveniently located on the road into Maryborough, the service was great, and the check-in was quite quick. The rooms were comfortable, and the wifi worked pretty well. It turned out to be a rather lovely place to stay actually, and quite peaceful as well. Oh, and it also looks like they have a restaurant too.
Def a 3 star place. Staff friendly. Room is like a jail cell. A cabin not a motel room. Very very small room with tiny ensuite. Included breakfast which was a box of cornflakes and two pieces of toast. It was clean and very basic. I won't stay again bc it just felt too claustrophobic and very overpriced.
Ray and Georgine were so friendly and helpfull during my stay, the room was warm and very comfortable. Clean and in totally 5 star standard. My extended stay was due to a period of homelessness so they reduced ther rates very kindly for me and still treated me like a full paying guest. I have stayed in Motels across Australia and this is probably about the best I,ve come across. Paul.
