This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a business. Their staff were five days late in completing the task, took multiple days to complete the job, and had us standing around waiting for them to arrive for hours on the days they did show up. The timber flooring guy’s work was extremely shoddy. He left exposed glue and gaps of 1-2mm beneath crooked floor trims. One of our doors now doesn’t close properly. The management basically begged us to pay in full, as it appears they don’t have cash on reserve to pay their suppliers. I am not surprised their business is failing, as their work was incredibly sub standard. I’ll be needing to bring in a more skilled workman to repair the work done. The one saving grace for this company was a cheerful and pleasant carpet guy named Omar who did an alright job.
Poor customer service. Cheap labour used for flooring installation which resulted in flooring having to be removed. They won’t fix their poor workmanship unless you pay them more money. Do not use this company. Avoid at all costs as otherwise you too will end up at NCAT
I have purchased Kempas timber (Wonderful Floor Brand) included installation from Hills Flooring last September 2015, it offers 10 years warranty, but the timber has just cracked inside 3 months after installation.
We have reported this issue to Hills Flooring in Jan. 2016, we haven't received any response nor phone call from Hills Flooring, despite of many repeated attempts to requested fixing our floor.
In late April 2016, Hills Flooring eventually has come to inspect our floor, took some photos, but nothing happened afterward.
