To celebrate the launch of the hillscene Winter issue 2014, we are curating a mini-arts festival of live arts, bringing together a collision of art forms including Theatre, Dance, Installation, Spoken Word, Music and so much more! This is the first of three mini-festivals planned for 2014.

The event features almost 20 live art projects, including:
- A durational improvised puppetry performance
- A sound art project performed to the setting sun
- A one man political cabaret
- A key note speech on sustainability from an industry professional
- Live visual arts continuously morphing Burrinja's internal walls
- Art, culture and creative process oozing out of every possible corner of Burrinja
- Live broadcast from 3MDR Mountain District Radio

hillsceneLIVE seeks to engage and excite audiences by presenting bold, striking or experimental work by some of Melbourne's best emerging and established artists.

FRIDAY 6TH JUNE ONLY
Bar open with live fascinations from 6pm, magazine launch 7:30pm, followed by performances until 10pm. This event is free to attend. Capacity is limited, so bookings are advised.
