Hinky Dinks
Small bar in the Sydney suburb of Darlinghurs. With an emphasis on approachable wines and fun drinks, Hinky Dinks embodies the enthusiastic spirit of the 1950s cocktail culture.
I'm a fan. The place is just big enough that you get a good vibe and buzz - but, not too big to lose the intimacy. Groovy crowd just enjoying themselves without the drunkenness of some of the big bars in the area.
Great cocktails and staff are super friendly and helpful. I've been a few times now, and always enjoyed myself.
The 50's are back and they landed in Darlinghurst in the form of this cool new bar, the decor makes a nice change from the usual dark wood and low lights of so many other bars in the area, foods not too bad, try the polenta chips, pretty tasty, I wouldn't come here if you are a beer drinker, only 2 on the menu and one is a light, but this place is definately worth a visit, for a cocktail and a bite in a fresh new bar that fits in nicely on this street,
