Do you have a bee hive in a building or tree you would like removed? Call a bee-keeper, not an exterminator. There are very good reasons to avoid using a pest exterminator to remove bees:
1. they are often unsuccessful killing all of the bees,
2. surviving bees are likely to become very aggressive, and
3. killing an existing colony of bees only deals with the bees. The hive may contain 100+kg of honey. Unguarded honey will attract small hive beetle which will slim-out the hive. Unripe honey will ferment which will attract cockroaches and other vermin. The comb will slowly degrade leaking huge quantities of spoilt honey inside the wall or ceiling cavity.

CUT-OUT SERVICE
This option requires opening the cavity and relocating the bees and honey comb into a standard bee hive, waiting until sundown when all of the foraging bees have returned then taking the new hive and all of the bees away. In most cases this operation can all be done in one day.

TRAP-OUT SERVICE
This option is used when the cavity can not be accessed such as double brick constructions and trees. This process involves allowing the bees to exit the feral hive but not return. A standard hive is provided for the trapped-out bees to occupy. Once the bees have established in the new hive they are allowed to return to the feral hive to rob out all of the honey only leaving clean wax inside the cavity. ...read more
