My celebrancy ethos is that wedding ceremonies should be all about the loved up couple saying the "I do's" but as an exception (just this once!) I will tell you a little about myself... When I became a stay at home mum I missed sharing in the meaningful moments in people's lives. I had oodles of time to clean up the mess made by sticky fingers and wipe dirty (yet totally adorable) faces but I was looking to reconnect with some of the moments that define us. Those time-standing-still moments that transport us from one stage of life into another. As a social worker I previously had the privilege of sharing in some of people's hardest moments now I get to share in the joy! What's not to love! So if you are looking for a celebrant who wants to work alongside you to put you and your ideas at the centre... you have found me!
