Hog's Breath Café Cronulla

As usual, each time the staff are incredibly hospitable and engaging, even telling you when they leave and change! My family and I often come here quite regularly, and each time we are never let down. Some of the waiters and manager even know us and come over to talk to us as they take our orders!
The food is great (unless on a diet) and who can forget the curly ('hog-tail') fries? Great vegetables too. Extremely kid friendly! Sometimes it gets a little noisy, but not so loud that we can't hear eachother. Don't forget to have dessert when you go!

A bit disappointed here - its located at a beautiful location, the weather was sunny, the food is nice (a bit expensive and the servings could be bigger) but the service was a let down. Staff looked inexperienced and very slow.

All was good, food was great UNTIL we asked If we could take our food home. One wait staff said 'no problems' and another came straight back with a bag and dumped it on our table, then left. We found ourselves just scraping our $30 meals into a paper bag with my knife and fork. Just feel like throwing It in the bin now. Quite insulted.

There were hits and miss when we had Hog's Breath for the first time last night since they closed their branch in Bondi.



The staff were obviously spread very thin across the restaurant that was practically full on a Saturday night. Usual great food and great atmosphere. Everything was to the normal high standard... Except I felt our waiter just tried too hard! I appreciate that they get rated and get rewarded if they make greater sales (sauces etc), but it's just not the Australian laid back feel I get at the Canberra and Castle Towers Hogs Breathe.
