I am a Sister in Motherhood, answering your call and anticipating your needs. I am a Mirror for your magnificence; reflecting your power and your fierceness, your will and your strength. I am a Witness to you birthing a precious child from your womb and an incredible Mother from your heart. I am your Companion, your Confidante, your Comfort, I am your Doula?
As your BodyTalk Doula I:
*actively supporting your birth choices *respect your privacy & integrity as a couple by guiding and encouraging your attending birth partner to be as involved as they choose *give warm bath/shower assistance *guide breathwork, *encourage your mobility and help with changes of position during birth *offer continuous care during the transition to birth center or hospital (if you are not having a home birth w/Midwife) *help maintain your focus during any medical procedures, interventions or interruptions *facilitate mother/baby skin to skin union upon birth *for homebirth clients, develop a respectful relationship with your attending midwife.
