Absolutely the worst nail experience I've ever had. I felt uneasy from the moment I sat down and should have left when I wanted to. Incredibly rude staff, no one spoke to me while I was there. I asked for a full set acrylic and ended up with the worst looking nails I've ever seen. My fingers are sore and bleeding, they buffed my natural nail to shreds and the acyrlic was applied so heavily and unevenly that there were lumps and thick bumps all throughout the nails. The shape was uneven and the polish was applied terribly with no top coat. I was with a friend who had an even worse experience than I did and we both left feeling incredibly upset. We paid a very overpriced amount for what we had done and went straight to our regular nail salon to have them fixed. A very expensive mistake, will never come back to this salon again. Do not recommend.
Ok, so I went to Hollywood Nails Knox for a new full set. The staff member waved me down into a seat. He did not speak to me at all. I've worked in retail for 5 years so I spoke to him to try and get him engaged - to no avail. They spoke amongst themselves in their language the whole time. I ended up going for a full set of french acrylics, which at the end looked terrible. Some were crooked, all were lumpy and did not look natural at all. I had to ask for a clear coat to go over the top, which the staff splashed on, with no care given to ensure the coat was even. I actually bumped one while the clear coat was drying - the staff member had already started serving someone else. He pointed at me, said something to the employee next to him who laughed, making me feel embarrassed. I paid and left quickly. Within a few days, several of the bases started lifting, one fell off. Overall the whole experience was rushed and not enjoyable at all - would never recommend to ...read more
Very very disappointing! Went in to have my nails soaked off, extremely rough, nail technician drilled the shellac off, as I would expect, then got some sharp utensil to lift the acrylic nail off my natural nails. Started pulling it away from my finger then used nail glue to stick my nail back on before getting the acetone to soak off the rest. Again went to try and rip the others off until I stopped her. Never ever will I go back there or recommend this place.
Worst nail salon I have ever been to!! Not only are the prices extremely high in comparison to other places of similar practices in the area, they are horribly rough and rude! I had shellac removed and reapplied to my toes. The staff did this at a desk (usually used when having hands done), and was yanking my feet/leg awkwardly under the desk! All the while burning my nails while drilling of my polish. Whenever I would wince and pull my foot away slightly, they would roll their eyes and yank my foot back. I was shocked and embarrassed!
