Holy Basil

Good Thai restaurant with a good selection of curries. Is often very busy but a nice place to dine. Every time I come here I have the fried ice cream. You have to try it!

We always go to this place as its great for both the meat and vegetarian eaters in our group. They accommodate us well with a large table and we always order lots of choice to share so it's too easy to be able to get a taste of everything! We always order the classic pad Thai with chicken! The chicken is always so succulent and never dry! They also do great curries if you're not feeling like noodles and have many options with curry sauce too. Their fired icecream is the best way to end the meal, all my friends enjoyed it so definitely leave room for dessert!

Strengths: cheap drinks from Shark Hotel. Weaknesses: they do not take bookings. Opportunities: take bookings but set a time limit. Threats: not the nicest decor, so people may opt for a place with nicer ambience.

One of my favourite Thai restaurants in Sydney! Of course - the highlight must be the fried ice-cream. Words cannot describe how delicious this ice-cream tastes. Crispy layer of pastry, with caramel sauce and nutty/coconut pieces...yum!

Other main dishes are tasty too, like the Laos sausages and pad see ew. It is a bit pricier than other Thai restaurants in the area, but worth it. A nice place for a casual catch-up with friends and family!

Delicious and not too expensive. The convenient location makes it an easy place to meet up with friends after work. The menu is quite diverse too, so even my friends who are picky eaters can enjoy something different every time. There's also a bar just outside the restaurant, so we don't have to go far for drinks afterwards.
