Established (2011) in Melbourne, Australia, the Holy Funk concept was born on a typical cold, wet winters morning. Sitting at my computer, with a coffee and credit card in hand, the lack of unique and alternative industrial furniture and homewares left me frustrated and uninspired. It was at this moment the decision was made and Holy Funk was born. We would provide online shoppers with an affordable opportunity to purchase unique industrial furniture that could be delivered directly to your door rain, hail or shine. Great industrial style furniture that look just like the photos. There is also a friendly dog named Hugo that sometimes greets you when you enter. But what is exceptional about this place is the service. We bought a 1.4m dining table last year which we absolutely loved however have been thinking about getting the larger 1.6m one. When we dropped by to look at a console table for our bedroom we had a lovely chat with Adam there and just happened to tell him we were thinking of placing our current dining table on Gum Tree so we could purchase the larger table. He told us they actually had a 1.6m table in the back with a slight defect so would be happy to do a trade with our table if we were happy to take it. When we had a look there was just a small crack in the corner of the wooden table top but other than that it was perfect! It also had black legs (ours was white) which matches our decor better.
