My first rental experience in Australia and what a nightmare from the unfriendly unhelpful PM and owner of home2home realty to the filthy house she leased us. House had been empty many months.Rubbish in the shed, an overgrown lawn rhat she said was just mowed, rampant bamboo, filthy dusting wardrobes with dead insects on, an oven so dirty it couldnt be used. Grease, dust, dead insects covering all venetians. Hotwater that failed constantly for several days, dirty tile grouting, towel rails and bathroom shelves hanging loose off walls, couldn't risk using them. Windows and door runners full of sand and dead insects. Weeds in the pavers.
I took windows out, cleaned all runners. Cleaned all venetians, got friends to do high shelves as just out of major surgery.
Couldn't leave place as found it because it was now clean! She has not refunded overpaid rent and will not respond to requests for it. She has had many ...read more
Julie, I appreciate the time you have taken to make this review, as you know there are two sides to the story. You may have taken an instant dislike to us from the beginnig, but we bent over backwards to meet your every demand. I am quite pleased you have opted for a third party to determine the outcome of the items we needed to have attended as you will not be able to dispute their ruling. We are confident in the evidence we will put forward to the Magristrate to determine the outcome. Your co tenant was happy to sign the bond disposal when we showed him the documentation and will be attending court to to see the matter through. Regards - Donna
