Wok Inn is an Asian fusion restaurant, conveniently located opposite Homebush train station (and on the Homebush main street). The restaurant is owned by locals as such there is extra care in the way the food is prepared and delivered, e.g food is extremely fresh and cooked on the spot! The prices of a feed here are also extremely good given how generous the serving sizes are and how good the food is!l The restaurant is also BYO alcohol with a tokenistic corkage fee..and also offers take away and food delivery. The restaurant quite small side but it can seat about 30 people easily albeit a bit snuggly. I highly recommend you Wok Inn. #reviewtowin
Only on reading the below review did I realise Wok Inn is in fact a Thai restaurant. You wouldn't know it if you went by the menu as there is an assortment of Asian fare. With sweet and sour, sweet chilli jam, rice paper rolls and laksa to name a few, Wok Inn seems to cover South East Asia well, with a hint of MSG here and there. Lunch prices are good and servings are generous. The restaurant is on the small side and don't think to take a pram or large group as they get quite full. If you are stuck for a place to dine at while on Homebush Road, walk on into Wok Inn.
This is one of the tastiest Thai restaurants that I've been to. The service is great (they dont harass you every few seconds), but can sometimes be slow in getting the food to your table at peak times.
Vegetarians wont be disappointed as they can make most meat dishes without egg, meat etc and replace with Tofu and vegetables. I recommend the Pad Thai, Red Curry, or Green Curry. And the food is affordable as well ;)
They are not open til very late, so make sure you give them a call to find out what time they shut their doors.
