Not even worth 1 star.
Unfortunately for Stratco they were the company they passed me onto to install my Stratco awning. Homeclad are without doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with. Delivery not to schedule agreed. Design was wrong and I had to help the installer to understand it and address issues. Missing parts. Installer no showed on at least 3 occasions.Site was left in messy state. Backed out of an agreement to compensate me and complete works. And I was just simply lied to.
Do not use this company under any circumstances and if forwarded on from Stratco ask for another company.#reviewtowin
Absoluteley agree with ruffsox. I have the same problem with them. I paid $500 deposit on 4 March 2014 and waited over 2 months for material delivery. Paid $2000 on delivery 11 May 2014. They asked me to pay another $2000 before starting the work (total is $5000)...I found later their price was a bit higher. The work they did was not exactly the same as the sales person told me. It is hardly reached the same sales person and the sales person did not give me their mobile number. I never come back to this company and highly NOT recommend to other people as this is a really bad service and bad management company.
Unfortunately I went with them, only to find out later the price was a bit inflated to what I could have gotten from others, even with their "discount".
The standard of their work is OK, and I'm happy with what I have, but I found them very difficult to deal with, and experienced very little communication, if any.
Overall summary: I will be using other services for any future work and I certainly would NOT recommend them to anyone at all.
Wouldn't recommend them. I asked for a quote but the sales rep. wouldn't leave one. Instead they showed us some numbers and then wanted us to sign an order straight away. They offered a 5% discount if we signed there and then. I'm sorry, I don't operate that way.
Hi, we also had the same issue in Oct 2013. They would not give written quote, told a figure, but then if we signed up that day, we would get a 10% discount. We said we wanted time to think about it, and were told the price was $1,000.00 if not signed up today. We won't operate that way either and went with a different company. We felt must uncomfortable with the pressure selling.
