We built with Hometec on a very expensive block of land, however the quality of the house is so poor.

This whole team helped me build a house from offsite and made it so easy and enjoyable. I can't talk highly enough of them , they were all honest and provided accurate information. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone wanting to build.

Unprofessional conduct and incompetence are the name of the game at Hometec. We have had massive delays and mistakes every step of the way, including sending us someone elses building plans, errors with the colour selections and invoicing for stage completion when the work had not been completed. The only positive experience was with the electrician who of course was an independent contractor. Progress has been at snails pace (if that) and we were completely mislead by the real estate agent acting on Hometec's behalf in what to expect before signing the contract. There have been plenty of broken promises and the depressing thing is our problems aren't over yet. We have spoken with 2 other Hometec clients and they have had similar or worse experience, so I know we are not alone. If you want to save yourself a couple of years of stress and sleepness nights don't build with Hometec.
