It was cold and rainy so comfort food was in order - straight to Honki Tonki for a bowl of mixed mushroom soup, some handmade noodles with pork and of course, some dumplings. The mushroom soup didn't live up to the wonton soup that I'd had on a previous visit but was still a tasty vegetarian option.

The group behind Sit Lo have opened another place just around the corner on Hindley Street. Honky Tonky focuses on dumplings and noodles. I tried the wonton noodle soup and was presented with a generous bowl of noodles, wontons, pork and bok choy. Good broth. For $12.50 I was more than satisfied.
