Urban Beer BarCue Southbank's newest resident, Hopscotch, a downbeat gathering place with a beer for every occasion. The craftiest of them all features as a boutique batch from their on-site microbrewery, which changes every few weeks and is personally prepared by your local makers. Explore the tap and fridge menu for more local and international drops, with 30 tapped beer flavours & plenty more in the fridge, you won't be asking for "the usual".
If cocktails are more your thing, you can't go past one of their DIY Kocktail Kits, tap cocktails or a spiked slushie anyone? Or ask the bartender to conjure up something with bite, their signatures will have you doing a little shoulder shimmy, you know the one.

The staff at this place are very quick with your orders and are friendly. I ordered a steak and chips and they were both well presented and cooked to my likings. It is a good place to catch up with friends as it is spacious and big enough to give you that group privacy. I will definately come back to try the other items on thier menu. I hope they can continue their quick turn around service!
Boasting a food and drink menu from all over the world in a fantastic outdoor-indoor location, only two things spoilt my experience: the smoke and the noise. Restaurants seriously need to consider non-smokers in outdoor areas as it's becoming impossible to dine alfresco without cigarette smoke ruining your meal. The noise was simply unbelievable, we couldn't have a conversation without shouting and it was still early. This is such a pity as the location is fabulous and the food is good.
They seem to sell a bit of everything here with a more expensive price tag. I guess with the higher price tag, the crowd changes to a more mature crowd. I found the food here very mediocre. I can easily find a similar menu that's much cheaper anywhere else along Southbank. I wouldn't go back not just because they're expensive, but I prefer a more casual environment that's more fun and outgoing.
