Hornsby Hospital has friendly and caring nursing staff and I have been well looked after there. However the building is old and seems ad-hock with different buildings all connecting. Obviously the doctors and nurses are the most important element of patient care but it is preferable to be in nice facilities! I would also imagine that processes could be improved should the infrastructure be upgraded. If you are going to emergency it is worth calling ahead to ensure a relevant doctor is available. I have done this in the past and found that the correct doctor is not. This saves time and hassle!
