As Crystal Mary White I enrolled in kindergarten at Horsley Park public School in 1950. It was then a two teacher two room school with approximately twenty students.At this time Mr Howden was the principle who also taught yr3 to yr6 children. Toni Cini shop was built next door to the school when I was in about third grade. Up until that time there was nowhere to buy a school lunch if it couldn't be brought from home. I attended until sixth grade when I left to attend Fairfield Public School. From there I went on to Fairfield Girls High School.
Eventually I studied Nursing in a Sydney Hospital leaving there to marry in 1964. I returned to nursing in 1994. I am now retired and live on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. It would be nice to hear from any other old students. I can be contacted via Face book as Crystal Lindsey.
