Hot Poppy Cafe

A friend of mine and I come here for the coffee as it's really good and since this is our meeting spot in the afternoon, we've usually had lunch by the time we meet and I'd never ordered a meal here until our last catch-up. I'd been running errands all day and was starving by the time I got there, so I finally decided to have a bite. Well, their food is as good as their coffee. There are quite a few options to choose from but I decided to go for a salad. It was deliciousness and nutrition in a generous amount - had me full instantly. I'll definitely have some of their other menu options next time I come around. The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly, staff are great with clients and it's a great place for all day breakfast and a decent espresso.

I hadn't had the chance to eat from the lunch menu yet cause when I was there, it was only for a coffee and small bite. But whilst eating my coffee (which was really nice), I couldn't help but notice all the lunch items being brought out for other customers - it all looked so good. Especially the salads even though I'm normally not a fan of salads. But in regards to the coffee that I had, that alone is more than enough reason to return.

Great Coffee even better great food prepared with love and passion tastes like real home cooked food did when Mum cooked it just fantastic. love it!

We had the full hearty breakfasts with coffee for two people it was the best. Good food, good atmosphere, friendly service. I like the way they serve it and the breakfast is very tasty. will recommend this cafe.

The guys have a nice coffee shop going on here. They don't try too had and the spot is perfect for a relaxing afternoon. However, beware that on weekends it can get pretty crowded and impossible to have a private conversation.
