Sorry but I always look for something nice to say. Here there is a nice view of the park across the road. We ordered first 2 garlic pizzas because they were out of focaccia. The pizza breads were supposed to be topped with rocket. Sadly dried parsley is no substitute. We waited 35 minutes to have this delivered with our meals. So much for entree. Our meals were gnocchi, barramundi special and chicken parmigiana. The fish was the exception it was definitely the pick. Unfortunately the gnocchi was swimming in an oily sauce and the mushrooms appeared to be out of a tin if not they certainly weren't fresh. The chicken parmigiana was overcooked and dry. Sadly I wouldn't dine in the bistro here again and I couldn't recommend it either.
Staying in the accommodation is very much "you pay for what you get". Very basic and shared bathrooms. The thing that I found difficult was being able to hear 'everything' my neighbours were doing. Staying on Friday night when the band was pumping was very loud - I may as well as put my bedroom right next to the band - there is 'no' sound proofing with the accommodation at all. The meals however were good value for money, large portion sizes and good quality and the staff were brilliant, real country hospitality.
