I dined at the House of Chow on Monday with my Fiancee and found the servings small and the price high for the quality and the serving size. I thought I was being picky on my comments to another diner who left a review and decided to give them another chance of winning our patronage.
All making sense now DJ - We must be comparing two different restaurants as our "local" house of chow restaurant in Sans Souci isn't open mondays.... Good luck at the hairdressers though, book your fiancee in there as well as it's great! :)
No guys, there is only one House of Chow in Sans Souci. It was open for a function that we attended.
Great food and great service. Highly recommend this restaurant, prices aren't cheap for chinese food but the quality is pretty amazing.
Food is good but do you really think the service is that good? As far as pretty amazing food, I recommend going into the city for a truly authentic chinese meal. Not an australianised version served up by House of Chow
Hi Dave, totally agree there are great restaurants in the city, but I live locally to house of chow and as the website is named "true local" i have reviewed a local restaurant to where I live :)
I do feel honoured though you have made the effort to review both of my only 2 reviews... I took the time to check out the one review you did and noticed it wasn't that positive, why don't you take the time to review some of the local businesses in your area that you DO LIKE :)
I also find House of Chow to be extremely expensive for the food that you get i.e quality and amount. Thanks for reminding me that it's true local, I will leave a review of House of Chow now :)
