We have been to lunch here with friends 3 times in the last few months & we were always delighted with the pleasant surroundings & value for money. The food was fresh & tasty & the gift & clothing shops have a wonderful range of interesting items at good prices. It is a unique BYO restaurant. We will keep returning with our visitors while the quality & service is maintained.
Myself and 6 friends had a very disappointing high tea here. $28 pp. Not enough food to feed a bird. we all went away hungry. would not recommend it. teeny tiny quiches, no scones as advertised, pinwheel sandwiches the size of a thimble, teeny tiny sweets. best part was the view and company.
I'm sorry you were disappointed but a high tea is not meant to be a big meal. It is usually a range of delicacies enjoyed by ladies in pleasant surroundings.
It sounds like that is what you got.
