I have allways used Hoyt's cinnamon quills and Hoyt's whole cloves. Specifically to make steeped tea as a naturpathic way of helping to soothe a sore throat. I am sick at the moment and when I snap the cinnamon quill there is no smell or even an aroma from the quill. I poor the hot water over the quill and cloves and only smell the cloves. I am not wanting a replacement because I am now seeking to buy cinnamon quills that are a better quality then what you are selling.It's obvious to me you are buying a cheaper poduct and all thats going to is reduce your sales. Cinnamon is not all equal and if it does not have the scent it does not have the medicnal properties of cinnamon. At aproximately $1 a quill I am entitled to complain if you supply a product that is old and tasteless. Yes old as the package is sealed but is your storage facility sealed to stop flavour from deteriating. Bye bye Hoyt's, buy cheap, bye bye reputation.

I would just like to say how great is your lemon pepper. I think it has improved since I first started buying it. Today I discovered Lime Pepper which I think has now taken over from the lemon Pepper as my favorite.

I just had a call to customer service to relay a product problem. I was most happy with the reaction from the company, they were very willing to replace the product and also were extremely happy that someone called to tell them of the problem. I use Hoyts spices all the time, I love the fact that you are not paying for excess packaging and that helps the environment. I think that the value of a company is directly proportioned to their customer service! Thanks Hoyts.
