My daughter wanted to celebrate my birthday Saturday 17th at LUX EQ so we purchased tickets on line to see Black Panther 2:30pm.
We reserved seats F7 and F8 but when we walked in someone else was sitting in our seats.
Nothing was done about this and the staff made us sit near the steps which is not what we wanted it paid for. Paying $42 per seat and reserving then and not have it delivered is not acceptable! As a result it ruined my birthday event! We wish thus to be rectified pls at your earliest convenience..
My sister recently visited Hoyts at Tweed Heads to see The Greatest Showman which, from her home, took about 35 minutes. When she arrived she was told all tickets had been sold online so none were available for her or a couple of other, also elderly, ladies waiting. My complaints is that people like my sister - who is in her 80s - do not use computers so they miss out. Why don't theatres reserve some for people at the box office. This situation seems very unfair and discriminatory.
This has to be the dumbest complaint of all time. Why would a business put aside tickets and potentially lose out on revenue? How about you take some initiative and teach your sister how to book online? It would have taken the same amount of time to write this absolutely stupid review.
Hoyts Entertainment Quarter toilets extremely grubby went to toilet full of vommit uncleaned bad hygeine when watching (all the money in the world) tonight with my wife spoke to manager by name of Audrey she didnt even do nothing about it ive taken photos and videos of toilet before i start posting it on social media i expect hoyts to get back to me asap. This totally wrong for what is called LUX!!! I will escalate this matter to highest management possible Audrey manager was the most unfriendliest person i have ever come across to. Photos videos of toilet in my phone to prove it al!!! U fortunately u should not even deserve a 1 star
- Rude staff at Blacktown Hoyts, in particular the manager on at the time. Asked for a refund after experiencing bad ear pain and anxiety in the Xtreme screen. My ears were ringing for hours afterwards. This would be classified as damage to ear drum. Very rude and obnoxious towards myself and the 2 people I was with as all 3 of us had complained. We had not asked for an Xtreme screen ticket in the first place. Bad customer service. Will never go to Hoyts ever again, and will tell everyone how shocking the experience was, and the attitude of the manager and the staff.
Extremely bad customer service. I went for a movie yesterday to the east garden location. We prefer this location as it has recliner seats . We complained twice that my recliner was not working and was at an extreme upright position. The staff mentioned they would send someone to get it checked but no one bothered coming to even see the problem. It was a 3 hour long movie and i had to sit in an extremly bad position which eventually gave me a bad back ache. The staff should havr the decency to come and check the situation at hand atleast . Very dissapointed and disgusted
