Hoyts Cinemas
Love: the huge cinemas, the comfortable seats, the leg room, the location for meals before/after the cinema. Don't love so much: there are always queues for the tickets, tickets are expensive, and they allocate you seats seemingly to jam in as many people as possible. Not my first choice of cinema, but for an occassional treat in one of the massive cinemas. Grill'd next door seem to have a good deal with tickets when you purchase a burger.
The half pipe cinema is alright - it's not as great as the EXTREME cinema. The bean bags in the half pipe are huge so it's easy to get comfortable in it. The half pipe cinema itself isn't as big as other cinemas, there's only about 2 dozen bean bags in the cinema. A different experience and probably worth a try at least once, otherwise you can't go wrong with the EXTREME cinema!
Great atmosphere and the huge screen makes for an unforgettable experience. You get to see the hottest Hollywood blockbusters and it's great fun for kids to catch up on the latest animated releases. I just wish they would include some classics for old black-and-white film lovers such as myself.
