I guess the one thing that gets me about this cinema are the premium prices. Since there are some cinemas that literally charge half the price that this one does it doesn’t give me much of an incentive to come here. Sure, they do have some pretty nice cinemas, including ones with seats that can fold back so you can lie down and watch the film (or even fall asleep if it turns out to be completely boring), but in the end its a gimmick. Still, it’s an okay cinema, though they tend to only show latest releases and nothing, well, risky. I’d probably not come back anytime soon unless friends were coming as well.
Dinner and a Show at Frankston Hoyts Theatre
A night at the theater is always an interesting one, and tonight was no exception.

Went here, to the La Premier section last friday night with a group of 5 friends as they had never experienced La Premier before and ever since my glowing experience at the Eastland venue they have been curious.
On the plus, the entrance and foyer area at Victoria Gardens kills Eastlands little bar. The full piano bar with fish pond at the entrance was so elegant the guys actually "wowed" when they stepped in. ...read more
