Humble House

We needed our Chinese food fix and enjoyed a beautiful meal. The food is wonderful and prices are on a par with the area and type of restaurant. Staff is so friendly and welcoming. The menu has a few Asian fusion style dishes as well although I love Chinese food.

This place never disappoints with delicious food with the subtle and fresh ingredients that make Cantonese food so lovely. Try the steamed barramundi in soy, ginger and shallots! It is breaktakingly good! Service is fantastic too, unobtrusive but always ready to help. The food is beautiful and healthy and good value.

I passed Humble House so many times but on this last occasion was drawn in by the wonderful smell if Chinese food. Everything was superb and service is friendly and prompt. This is a great value place for authentic Chinese food. Servings are a good size and everything is cooked fresh. They also do take-away.

If you want a quick chinese food fix that is always fabulous then pop into Humble House. you'll be looked after beautifully by the staff. The fixed price lunch menu includes a glass of wine. Every dish is tasty and well presented. Its perfect for a quick bite before a movie or to recharge whilst you are shopping in Church St.

My favourite local Chinese. Always good and the San Choy Bow is to die for but my favourite is the Calamari - actually all the entrees are so nice I pig out and forget to leave room for the mains. Staff lovely and great with the kids.
