I have been taking my cars to Hummy since I bought my first car and always pleasantly surprised at the way i'm taken care of. In that time i've had to use other mechanics but none have come close to the service Hummy provides.
I'm incredibly fussy about my cars and I have taken both of my Lexus cars that I've owned to him, despite the fact that I live a 12 hour drive, because HE IS GOOD. This is a mechanic to go to if you love your car becuase he knows cars, and the best part is that his labour charges are very reasonable. He is honest, kind, passionate, an excellent communicator who is happy to spend the time explaining everything, uses quality / OEM parts, and his workshop is clean and tidy which says a lot. I currently have an LS400 and I wouldn't trust many peoples hands, but I know I can trust Hummy. I can not recommend highly enough.
I'd say the poorly written negative review below should be ignored.
Hummys is a very knowledgable and friendly. He is passionate about his job. He will tell you everything you need to know about your car. He will give you good recommendations. I have a 8 yrs old car, he not only helps me to find and fix problems on the car, he also prioritise the work that needs to be done - so that I don't get hit by one big invoice. He looks after your car like a good doctor looking after his patient. No doubt, he is one of the best mechanic around in brissy.
Just had my daughters car fix at Hummys, while I knew the bill was going to be big as the car needed lots of work to make it safe, Hummys did there best to keep the costs down and kept me informed all the way. At last i may have found someone who looks after me as a customer. Great work!!!!!!
I serviced my 2001 Nissan Maxima at Hummy's a few months ago, knowing there'd be quite a few things that needed fixing. I was told up front what was needing immediate attention and what could be fixed sometime later. This helped me with my budget and my confidence that I wasn't being ripped off.
I'd definitely recommend going to Hummy's if you are looking for a well priced and honest mechanic!
