Hungry Jack's

After my rather scathing review 6 months ago, I've been back to this Hugry's a couple of times and they seem to be doing better than they were - cleaner, sometimes faster service (though there's still often queues literally out the door) and some ok food. Still wouldn't go there if it wasn't next door to work - but they're better than they were.

Needed to re-review this after a poor experience. On a half hour break, I was already rushed by waiting 10 minutes in line. The further 7 minute wait for my order made it worse. After shoveling down my barely edible meal (no apology from staff for the delay), I thought I'd go to the bathroom. Perhaps, I thought, all the staff were cleaning them - hence the wait for food. Not to be - they were disgusting - sticky floor, dirty basin, and 2 empty wine casks next to the loo.
Unacceptable.

This location is my favourite hj's: lots of seats and the big windows mean you can watch the world go by. It can get busy but service is usually pretty fast & food is usually tasty.
