Hungry Jacks

On more than one occasion since last reviewing this 'fast food' spot I've zipped through at the end of a lunch break or on the way to somewhere else.
And waited.
And then perhaps had a staff member lazily pass their eye over me.
And ordered.
And waited.
Just to receive some pretty average food - even for HJ's.
If it weren't so cheap I wouldn't ever go back.

Located in the City Cross food court with entrance from Rundle Mall and Grenfell street, this Hungry Jack's certainly does get busy. It may get a little too busy at times that they the service isn't managed as well and they fall behind a little.

Given its title as a 'fast food' company, you'd think this would be a nice fast place to get your food. Not so. Not even at the 'fast counter' that's outside. I've never had fast service here. And the quality of food isn't great either. There's plenty of other places in the food court I'd go or take the family that provide faster service and tastier food. The open kitchen is good because you can see right into it which shows the staff slowly meandering around and not really trying to make any nicer or faster food too...
