This is a pretty standard Hungry Jacks in terms of food quality. Tasty burgers with that mildy charred flavour and unusually light and fluffy buns. Lunch times here are extremely busy, with hoards of people lining up... You'd think they were giving away free food! But I guess they are if you consider the Hungry Jack App, which gives freebies such as 50% off burgers, free fries and sundaes...
The venue is a little messy but that could be because they get so many people within a span of 2 hours- do not... I repeat... do not use their bathroom...
Overall, if you feel like some quick fast food... this is the place in North Sydney.
I reviewed this a couple of years ago & said perhaps they were bad because they were new. Today there's no excuse.
People queued up, wrong orders given, misorders taken, slow to get food. And in the background the manager is telling staff off for 'receipts falling on the ground'. Seems the least of their problems to me.
Soggy fries, already melted icecream. Dirty eating area.
Just bad.
I don't know how they can say "the burgers are better" ???
Like reviewer seansydney, I have to agree and say its the "worst HJ's I've come across". Got a large whopper meal, the burger was soggy and chips were super oily. Just really disappointing considering, the reason you go to Hungry Jacks is cos you know what to expect and they simply did not deliver?
This is a new HJ's so perhaps I should be nice. But to be fair it's close to the worst HJ's I've come across. Have been there twice now & both times they've been out of key ingredients - one time it was coke, and another time it was fries!! What's more, they didn't have some vouchers that everyone else had for taronga zoo, and given that they are just a ferry ride from taronga you'd think it would be the natural place to have the most of the vouchers (but they told me they'd never had them, nor were they sure if they'd ever get them??) Local management were incredibly unhelpful about issues, though when I took it further with HJ's head office I was helped more. But really not impressed.
