Went through placed order then sat in the driveway for 16 minutes before I got to the window to pay and collect. My BBQ cheeseburger was that drenched in sauce it was un eatable, nuggets were so oil soaked and I was 2 nuggets short and cold fries.
Do yourself a favour and keep driving.
I went there for breakfast at 730 in the morning on a weekday a while ago. Bought a sausage & egg muffin meal with white tea from the counter. The first thing I noticed was the sticky floor. When I went over to the drink machine to grab some napkins, there was this really sour smell. I thought it was a bit odd given the restaurant has only been open for an hour and a half. Got back to my car to make my tea. I opened the little packet of milk and poured it in without thinking, then the smell hit me, the milk was OFF. I took it back and told the management that the milk was off. They just went, 'We'll make you a new one.' No apology, nothing. Got back in the car and started driving. I pulled the hash brown out and I noticed the paper was soaked in oil which was a disgusting brownish color. Took a bite out of the hash brown and all you can taste is OLD oil. Couldn't eat it. I was absolutely appalled by the behaviour of staff members at Hungry Jacks Hallam Victoria. I ordered a stunner meal, paid for the order and was told to wait in the parking bay. After about 5 minutes the order came out minus the sundae. When I queried about the sundae I was told the sundae machine was broken. I then asked for my money back. The worker went inside. A minute later a different worker came out to explain that the machine was being cleaned (a different excuse!) and if I wanted to wait another 5 minutes I could have the sundae. I again said 'Can I please have my money back?' They took the meal back. Then to our astonishment the manager came out and asked if we were waiting for a stunner meal. Again I said our money back. All we wanted was our money back - they could not provide us with our order.
