Hunter River Hotel

For a pub meal this place is fantastic. I went here about 3 months ago and it was average. Last week I took my wife and a $6 second meal shopper docket off the net. We ordered a dozen oysters kilpatrick, crispy duck and ribeye fillet with dukkah which were all generous serves and excellent standard. My total bill came to $59 which is quite impressive. The sous chef has been promoted to head chef and obviously has his act together and his support staff are friendly and efficient and I could not fault any part of the meal. There is also a great selection to suit taste and cost.
