Hyde Paradiso

I recently had a three course meal here and couldn’t stop talking about it for weeks.
Absolutely amazing food (Kangaroo entree was my favourite) and impeccable service. To top it off, there is the most amazing view over the ocean.
Perfect for a special occasion

Recently enjoyed a three course meal at Seaduction when the entire restaurant was hired out for a corporate function.
Sadly at night you can't see the view, but the food was nice.
With 70 people talking over each other and a bit of live music too, it was very loud!
Staff were attentive and the alternate service options lovely.

I was really, really, really looking foorward to dining here after reading and hearing all about it.. so on my recent visit to the Gold Coast I made an effort to go here.

Well.. it wasn't worth the hype.. in fact it's barely worth a visit in my opinion. The food was okay..the staff who took my order was new (perhaps....) but she was awefully confused and didn't really understand how to manage my diatry requirements (which was a simple - no diary request). It all seemed a bit up-tight yet with mediocre service and food. Which brings me to the next thing - the bill! Well, let's just say I found it hard to justify the price.

The setting is beautiful. You see the ocean, the lights are dimmed.. its a real romantic setting.

My final thoughts are: If you are looking for a really nice setting and dont mind food that might not be the best in town (however still good), and dont mind spending that little extra for the beautiful setting - its the place for you!

A fabulous place for lunch or dinner with spectacular views all around. It's a great spot for a romantic dinner or special occasion and can accommodate a large group. The menu and wine list has lots of interesting touches but everything is lovely.
