After enjoying our Xmas dinner there last month I took the family back for an end of holidays treat. The 4 yr old was a bit concerned about the fire, but the 7yr old declared it the best restaurant ever! Happy kids = happy parents.
Food was fresh and tasty, and the theatre of the chef makes it a lot of fun.
I've never been a fan of miso soup, but really enjoyed it here, and the tempura was also sensational on both visits. Recommended.
We had a great experience here the first time so we go back for birthday celebrations! We enjoy the entertaining chefs...yes the staff clean the floors throughout the dining experience as they are throwing food left right & center buts its all good fun & that's why we have been 6 times this year already. I chi ban is supposed to mean the first or the the best in Japanese. But tonight was the worse choice of restaurant.
