ibis Budget Melbourne CBD

Not a horrible place to stay considering it has "budget" in the name. The rooms weren't the nicest and the hotel in a whole wasn't the most "polished" but you get what you pay for. Definitely a place to consider if you're on a small budget.

We were traveling with a large group of about 55 people. We had people with special needs as well as couples and singles. Staff were very helpful in organising all of the roons to accomodate everyone. The rooms were very basic but the shower was hot and the beds were comfy. The communal room was a good size.
It was great to have this part of our trip as a stress free equation.

Good for location, pretty fuss-free. Does the job for how much you pay. Nice staff, clean and tidy. Good for short notice!

Formerly known as Formule 1, this Ibis Budget has a very strategic location: only one block away from Flinders St station and two blocks to the ever popular Bourke St mall. We stayed at the double bed and bunk bed room that fits four people. For a budget room, it was actually very clean and decent, albeit small. The room and the shower area were only separated by sliding doors and well as a curtain with a washbasin just outside the shower area. The toilet was on a separate room although with small opening at the top between the toilet and the shower.
