Very disappointing, the info. they entered into their system was wrong, the management blames the client - great business etiquette if you want to lose a customer. The hair stylists may be good, not sure...

I'm very sorry that your booking experience was so unpleaseant. And that i have only just seen this comment as i would have contacted you to rectify this. I do assure you though i was (until now) completely unaware of this incident. I appreciate your feedback however as a business cannot improve if we are unaware of such problems.

Hi Helen, I'm not sure how you wanted me to communicate what happened at your salon, I was simply told that the salon is too busy for people like me who leave a wrong contact number. Obviously I know my own phone number, so it was written down wrong. Besides that, I wouldn't want to come back after the owner treated me with disdain and cancelled my appt without apologies. Thanks.
I went to Ice Hairdressing a couple of months ago needing inspiration for a new look.
All the staff were friendly and extremely professional.
Not only did my hair look fantastic but I was very pleased to find a beautiful make up that sat well on my easily aggrivated skin, which was recommended by their make-up artist.
Bevan, the owner of Ice, did my hair and i would highly recommend him or any of his staff to anyone. (and do) I personally think his prices are just fantastic for someone with such prolonged experience and such an upmarket salon.
From customer service, to recommendations and final results everything was above and beyond for me. I dotn know what 'Locum Guru' and 'Knots' were talking about.
I will definitely be a long term client of Ice Hairdressing.
This salon ROCKS! I can't stop raving about my experience I had on Saturday 4 February 2012! The staff were all excited about the new colour range that they had changed to and I must agree, the colour that I had this time was so much more full of body and shine, I looked like I could be in one of those ads on TV when I left the salon. Two weeks on and my hair is feeling as soft and sensational as the day that I had my hair done, so excited!!
The staff were so attentative and professional when dealing with me and recommended the new range of products to go with my new colour but did not push this on me to buy. The lady next to me had already bought the products on her last visit and raved so much about them that I had to buy them aswell - awesome!
Wow....what a great experience! I have been going to Ice Hairdressing for many years and have always received excellent service and excellent results but I never thought my experience could be topped.....that was until today! I walked into the salon looking for a change and walked out a new woman.
The staff always listen and go out of their way to ensure that they do their absolute best for you. The colour, style cut and service I had today went above my expectations. This salon's staff know their craft and Bevan certainly knows how to get the best out of them and ensures they are trained to perfection.
I will be going back for many years to come!!!
This salon was highly recommended by 2 friends. I asked for colour and style cut. Had a bad experience with the colour.They lightly trimmed me with no style. They charged full price for colour and style cut. Over $280. I did buy a hair spray also. A month later in November 2011I returned the hairspray as it did not spray. They told me they will return it to the manufacturer and will call me back in 2 weeks. I kept calling every two weeks and each time they couldn't give me any answers. Finally in early January 2012 was told that the manufacturer wants proof of purchase. I was totally disgusted by the whole thing especially given the bad hair treatment earlier. The cost of hairspray was over $35. I will never go back.
I can just agree with your review, and on top of that they don't even manage to cut my hair even. they were very offended when i came back and showed them. and even with the evidence in front of them they still told me it's even. only the first time i went, the haircut was perfect, after that no afford was made to get it right. No way I'll go back there.

You came in on Monday the 4th of April 2011. Your total bill including hairspray was $204.95 (not over $280). The hairspray was $34.95 (not over $35) you brought back the hairspray in question in November as mentioned (7 months after purchase) as we mentioned to you during phone calls we were waiting for the company to send out a replacement as we no longer stocked that range. We were calling said company every week to follow getting no return call as we again mentioned to you in a phone conversation. And the replacement hairspray was sent to you Via post at our expense to save you anmore inconvienience. I'm sorry that this was not good enough for you and wish you the best of luck.
