This was previously a regular haunt of mine for simply good, no-fuss Japanese food down the road. We were particular fans of the pork broth (rather than the chicken broth) for the ramen. They have recently undergone a change in menu, which is now more distinctively Korean and more focussed on seafood. In fact, the restaurant itself has gained the addition of a fish tank ala Chinese seafood restaurant style.
On our most recent visit, we did not choose anything on the new menu, but chose to stick to our old familiar favourites- just to see if anything had changed. It hadn't. It used to be a good restaurant but has recently changed ownership and become a 'Korean Japanese' restaurant. They served us undercooked, foul-smelling salmon and when I complained the owner got angry and then the chef came out and berated us for not knowing what fresh fish smells like. Terrible experience, and we won't be going back again.
