Icon Construction Group

Purchased one of their units a couple of years ago. Had lots of problems. The bathroom and balcony floors are not drained properly. When I have a shower, the water piles up on the bathroom floor. Apparently it was never levelled properly. I have dampness in my bedroom but no-one seems to know how to fix it and it is not covered under builder's warranty. The strata manager has appartently asked them to fix, they promise to do something but nothing ever gets fixed. Other owners have similar but some worse problems. Stay away from Icon Constructions. They do short cuts and sub contract to trades whose licence becomes cancelled soon after the construction completion date.

i my 40 years in building constraction, for me icon is the worst builder i have seen.cheap labour,1000 defects,i would no raccom.to use them in your projects.i have a unit in fivedock a lot of problem with water likings,i can't even park my car in my carspace,cheap water proof,been use.
they try cheapear way to fix,they only 1 year old thing in 10 years.

Several incidents of negligence and lack of safety provisions on site.
Got harrassed by several staff after requesting they stop blocking a pathway due to a recent issue with someone falling on site after having to walk around trucks and cranes blocking pathway.
Failure to respond to communications about safety concerns and injuries sustained due to their negligence.

If you are Lucky enough to purchase through Icon Constructions, Relax you will NOT be disappointed. We have purchased and have found them to be totally professional in all their building work, they do go the extra distance and only ever do quality work in all areas. All their staff are only too willing to help you through every minute of the building process to ease your mind of any concern. This company is a True Quality Building Company and if we could afford to buy again, we would only ever purchase with them. We would like to thank Danny, Michael, Chris and all the their staff for our great purchase.
