I thought straight off the highway this quiet IGA would be the perfect stop to pick up a few items after work but I found it to be quite disappointing. There is only limited parking with tight spaces with everyone rushing in and out. Once you do finally park and get to IGA the product range is not that desirable with overpriced items, a lot of the fresh food stored in rows of fridges so you can barely see what you are trying to buy, particularly the day I went the fridges were all iced up. Unfortunately not a supermarket I would recommend.
I visited Meadow Bank IGA the 02.09.2015 around 1.20pm and went to the counter where they sell smokes and other stuff on the left, as it was the only open counter. I had purchased some ladies pads and asked the cashier if she had any brown bag in which she can put the ladies accessories in and she said we don?t, then she just said how much it was and dint even help to put it into another bag so that it wasn?t visible and started serving another customer while I was still paying for the items. I found it very bad and wish not to ever be buying ladies accessories from them and it?s not because they don?t have a brown bag but because they don?t take care of the customers.
