The store has a decent range of items, however, it's downfall is the poor customer service, prices, and opening hours. The staff rarely ever have a smile on their face, are constantly in the way, pack the bags in odd ways and never put enough staff on the tills at peaks hours (some times the line will be 15 people long and they will have a till not being used. The prices expected to be a little more than a larger supermarket, but some of them are ridiculous - a small packet of blueberries (maybe 250g) was $8. They close early on weekdays (7.30), and super early on weekends (3.30 on a sunday). That might be acceptable for a country town, but not in the Inner West of Sydney. I've instead started taking my business to the IGA 500m away on Enmore Road

I think the business owners are multi millionaires ,they close early especially on weekends,don't need the money maybe,and my pet hate here,they never offer a receipt!,you have to beg for one,suspicious.......and the cashiers never smile,look grumpy and there is always a worker in the aisle packing the shelf and they never offer to get out of the way,won't be coming back from today,the last straw!

Had a really unfortunate inciddent there today. My 8 year old daughter took a small packet of lollies (known, I believe, as Push Pops) off the shelf. I then suggested to her that she could get a larger pack, so she returned the first to the shelves and we went to the counter. The elderly woman serving immediately accused my daughter of theft and demanded to know where the first packet had gone. We explained that she had not stolen anything and that the first pack taken was now back on the shelf. She did not accept this and demanded that we show her. So we did. When she discovered that nothing had been stolen she did not apologize for accusing an innocent young girl of theft. I said that her behaviour was unacceptable. No reply was offered. My family does not do a lot of shopping at this store - maybe $30-40 a week - but now we will never be back.
